“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Robyn Dixon is upset with Karen Hugger over “serious” allegations about her husband, Juan Dixon, on the Jan. 22 episode of the Bravo reality show.
“When I watched the episode, I was like, You know what? This is actually borderline risky,” says Robyn, 43. Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast.
Because I felt like she was actually referring to something that didn’t happen [and] We should not put [that] Abroad.”
Huger, 59, accused Juan, 44, in particular of making her feel “uncomfortable” during the alleged interaction that took place at the 2019 RHOP Season 4 reunion.
Juan proceeds to take me in his arms [and] She pressed me so hard that my breasts were back into my vertebrae,” the old lady claimed to the cast at dinner during a trip to Mexico.
“She seemed like she’d been sheltered her whole life and never had a friendly interaction with a guy,” Robyn joked as he recalled Huger’s allegations. “You just ignored it [at the time]. “
Now that she’s had time to reflect, the co-host of the “Reasonably Shady” podcast asserts that Huger has no business attacking her husband’s integrity.
“It’s not right that you go and make an accusation like that and not pay attention to what you say,” she says.
“Are you going to tell me you’ve been waiting over years to get her because it was such a big deal?” Robin continues. No, if it’s a big deal, tell me then and I’ll tell him, ‘Listen, woman is fragile. She can’t handle your strong embrace.’
But it was more than just a rough hug that Hugger charged Juan with during the girls’ escape. She also spread unfounded gossip that he had a secret girlfriend – who looks like Huger – and claimed that the former NBA player once proposed her a threesome with Robyn.
These very allegations, which were derided by the majority of the ladies of RHOP, are also somewhat amusing to Robyn. (She and their brothers vehemently denied the offer.)
“At this point, I think she might be a little obsessed with Juan or something — I don’t know!” Says. “It’s just… It’s really weird for me, you know? Especially coming from someone who has reached her level of maturity.”
Adds The Embellished by Robyn Dixon founder, “For you to come from her, where she’s, like, so stressed about what we’re doing, that’s pretty weird.”
Hugger — who has been married to husband Ray Hugger since 1996 — even accused the Dixons of planning a “mock” second wedding.
