Rupert Grint may have landed the role of a lifetime in the popular “Harry Potter” franchise, but the actor admits that not everything was what it seemed.
The 34-year-old, who found global stardom starring as Harry Potter’s best friend Ron Weasley from 2001 to 2011, said the experience was “suffocating” at times.
“The potter was so full – [filming] All year long, we’ll be promoting the rest of the time. “It was very stuffy,” said the Briton. hustle.
“I wanted a break, to think about everything… It was an out-of-body experience for a while, but I think we finished in time. If we had continued, it could have gone downhill.”
Elsewhere in the interview, one’s father said “the lines are blurred” between his character and his character in each film.
“I was feeling hard to see, and overwhelmed,” he explained. “In the movies, we merged into one. By the end of it, I was playing myself. The lines were blurred.”

Grint revealed that he would still answer “Ron” if someone addressed him that way, adding that it was his “second name”.
Growing up in the public eye also brought a “competitive element” between the two actors.
